Cross Connection Program

“The Lower Valley Water District, through its Cross-Connection prevention program, is committed to keep the water distribution system safe from possible cross-connections.  It is a requirement from the state, through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and from the District’s Rules and Regulations, to install a backflow prevention device to eliminate the possibility of contamination through a possible cross-connection source.  It is the responsibility of the customer to test and maintain in good conditions the backflow prevention device through a TCEQ certified backflow prevention technician.  The following form must be used by the technician to submit all test results to the District.  This can be done either through e-mail, fax, mail, or in person at our main offices at 1557 FM 1110 Rd., Clint, TX. 79836”
